The first time you open it

Your computer asks once before it opens an app it has not seen before. Here is what to choose.

  • On a Mac

    1. Open MePlans.dmg from your Downloads folder.
    2. Drag MePlans to Applications.
    3. Open MePlans. If macOS says it cannot verify the app, go to System Settings, Privacy and Security, and choose Open Anyway beside MePlans. Once is enough.
    4. MePlans opens in a window of its own.

  • On a Windows PC

    1. Open MePlans-Setup.exe from your Downloads folder.
    2. If Windows says the publisher is unknown, choose More info, then Run anyway. Once is enough.
    3. The installer puts MePlans in your own account. No administrator is needed.
    4. Open MePlans from the Start menu.

On your phone

There is nothing to install. MePlans in your phone's browser is built for one hand, and it can sit on your home screen like an app.

  • Add it to your home screen

    Open MePlans in your phone's browser, sign in, then choose Add to Home Screen from the browser's share or menu button. It opens full screen from then on, with your plan as you left it.

  • The same plan everywhere

    Your phone and your desk read the same saved plan. Check in from your phone; see the week on your Mac or PC. The journal stays on the device it was written on unless you lock it with your code.

Good to know

  • It opens on the example plan

    The app on your computer keeps its plan inside itself and does not sync with your account yet. Bring your plan over once with Export in Settings here and Import there, and the same way back when you want it.

  • One file, no store

    Each download is one file from this site, with nothing else in it. There is no app store between you and it, and nothing is installed for anyone but you.

  • If something is off

    Write to us from the Contact page and say which computer and which step. The Privacy page says what the app keeps and where.
